Annu Reddy

Teacher

Degree:Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood
Experience:25 Years (2 Years in Preschool Education)
Hobbies:Meeting People, Cooking, Sports and Watching Movies
Kia Ora and welcome everyone. I am Annu Reddy and I am originally from Fiji Islands. I have a postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education from Fiji and have been a primary school teacher. Currently, I am studying towards my Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood from The University of Auckland and it will be completed in November this year.
Furthermore, I have been working for Little Feet Childcare since March 2015 and I love working with the children and teachers here. I have a passion for children and I believe that through love, support and guidance I can bring about a difference in the lives of these little children. I also believe that every child is unique and precious in their own way hence should be nurtured and appreciated as they are. A child’s potential should be realised from the first contact with the teacher and should be given the freedom to express his or her feelings, views and opinion thus becoming a confident and competent learner.
Children must feel comfortable and content at a centre and teachers need to provide a caring and warm environment. Hence, I would like to create a friendly and stimulating environment at Little Feet Childcare whereby all the children’s learning needs are catered for.
